Following consultation of this WEBSITE, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed. The “owner” of their processing is ORIANA APRILE via Grimaldi, 41 97015 Modica(RG).

B – PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING
Data processing connected with the SERVICES of this WEBSITE takes place at the aforesaid premises and is carried out only by the technical personnel in charge of processing, or by any persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations. No data deriving from the SERVICES are communicated or disseminated. The personal data provided by users who request the sending of informative material (such as newsletters, answers to questions, etc.) are used for the sole purpose of performing the SERVICE or the service requested and are communicated to third parties only if necessary for that purpose.

C – TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

User Data are collected to enable the application to provide its services, together with other specific purposes requiring the use of cookies. The rules on the use of so-called “cookies” and other similar tools in the terminals (personal computers, notebooks, tablet PCs, smartphones, etc.) employed by users have been amended following the implementation of EEC Directive 2009/136/EC, which amended the “e-Privacy” Directive 2002/58/EC. The transposition of the new Directive took place in Italy with Legislative Decree no. 69 of 28 May 2012, which amended Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 ‘Personal Data Protection Code’.

Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this WEBSITE acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers employed by users connecting to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment. This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check that it is functioning correctly, and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the site.

Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail, even through electronic forms, through this WEBSITE entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to reply to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. The information requested via electronic forms will be used to allow access to the SERVICES. In order to ensure the correct performance of all activities connected with or instrumental to the provision of the SERVICES, the Data Controller may, where necessary, disclose users’ personal data to other companies. Moreover, since registration is a prerequisite for access to the SERVICES, users’ personal data, once the choice of service has been made and subject to further information, will be processed for purposes connected with and/or functional to the chosen SERVICE. If the chosen SERVICES are managed by third parties, the data will be communicated to the individual managers. The latter act as “data controllers” for the processing connected with the provision of the services for which they are responsible.

D – OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA

Apart from what has been specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide the personal data indicated in the request forms to demand informative material or other communications. Failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested. For the sake of completeness, it should be remembered that in some cases (not covered by the ordinary management of this site) the Data Controller may request news and information in accordance with Article 157 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 for the purposes of controlling the processing of personal data. In these cases, a reply is obligatory under penalty of administrative sanction.

E – TREATMENT MODALITIES

Personal data are processed by automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent loss of data, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

F – RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

The persons to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of such data and to be informed of their content and origin, to verify their accuracy or to request that they be supplemented or updated, or corrected (Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003). Pursuant to the same article, data subjects have the right to request the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in breach of the law, as well as to object in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing. Requests should be addressed to the data controller at its head office (see contact page).
