Radici: in name, in concept. Radici is an invitation to those who wish to join me on the journey through the origins of my culinary passions. In an earnest, family-run Osteria-style restaurant in the heart of Modica, my dining room takes you on a journey back in time, towards the dishes and meals that have struck my gastronomic imagination.

THE MENU

There are dishes from the heart and the land on the menu at my Osteria. The tradition of the island is both that of the farmer and the fisherman. I grew up absorbing both of them and would like to share them with you. With the desire to bring back home fragrances to your memory, giving you the thrill of recapturing them whenever you wish.

They call me ‘Chef of the two Sicilies’, because I work to combine the seafood tradition of my childhood in Sciacca with the more baroque dishes I have experimented with in the Val di Noto. This is how the menu of my Osteria comes to life: a harmonious synthesis that I hope will bring back the purity of the aromas, the flavours, the ingredients to you.

In a convivial and simple ambience, where cooking becomes refreshment, sharing and fun, I have the pleasure of giving you a taste of quality traditional cuisine, suggesting here and there pleasant and surprising flavour experiences beyond the limits of tradition. Seasonality, imagination and the enhancement of ingredients help me to let you experience a different interpretation of home cooking.
